Faculty recognised as Lanka’s “Key Centre” by UK Body

Pathe’s
Faculty of Management & Business Studies was recently recognized as the
“Key Centre in Sri Lanka for the year 2013 & 2014” by CTH UK (The
Confederation of Tourism and Hospitality).
The
awarding ceremony took place in Colombo.It was awarded to Anjana Senaratne –
Manager, Faculty of Management & Business Studies at Pathe. Senaratne is
also a Professional Member of the CTH.
CTH provides gold standard
management training for the tourism, travel and hospitality industries.
It is estimated that Sri Lanka would
need 600,000 skilled people to run the Travel & Tourism industry by 2016. CTH
has partnerships with major international employers and academic institutions.
GTMC, Virgin Atlantic and Star Alliance work with CTH on the professional
skills programmes, while CTH management programmes lead to undergraduate and
Masters degrees with many British and international universities. CTH qualifications are recognized internationally.
