University Foundation Diploma in Pre Medicine at the PATHE Academy is an optimum foundation programme which has been designed for the students who have obtained inadequate GCE AL results and also for those who have achieved required results but would like to enhance their knowledge with the intention of continuing the medical studies at a medical school of a foreign university.

These Pre medical programmes are being conducted at the PATHE Academy Campus at Wallwatte by the PATHE Academy with varying course durations from 8 months to 3 years. The curriculums of the courses are designed and approved by universities in Belarus, Russia, Malaysia and Philippines. Each prospective student will be interviewed by our specialist counsellors at “PATHEway to Study medicine department” and individually prepared foundation programme platforms will be offered according to the educational grades, country, and other requirements.

The students who have already acquired sufficient A/L grades will be routed through a 8 months foundation programme which will commence in January 2015 and guaranteed admission provided at Medical Universities in Belarus, Russia, Malaysia and Latvia in September 2015.The students who do not possess required SLMC educational grades in A/L will be routed through a 2 year double certification programme which will be conducted concurrently as integrated programmes and after successful completion the student will be awarded the Diploma in Pre Medicine as well as the Psychology Degree.
